Get in touch:
What are you working on right now?
A series of 16" x 16" panels to be exhibited as a grid. The title of the series is Monsters Among Us and is meant to reflect my imaginations idea of the COVID climate we are in. All the work has been created since May 2020. ALl of them are realized using silkscreen and paint.
What would you like to say about Manufacturers Village Artist Community?
I really enjoy working in my studio there. It gives me a chance to see my work on a long wall which is very different than the room I work in at home. There are interesting and responsible artists on the floor that houses my studio.
What's next for you?
I am so in the middle of this project that I do not know what my next one is, I exhibited work in a small group exhibition at Kean University in November and December of 2019, began a new series in January 2020, that I totally discarded after we went into lock down. That work has a very exuberant, happy feel to it that I cannot relate to right now.
I also teach at Pratt Institute and have to split my brain and time between the two at the moment. I just keep on working and we will see what comes of it.
